So, while skimming my favorite gossip site, Daily Mail, I came across this article HERE.
Repulsed.
I talked it over with a like-minded co-worker and I'm not completely off base.
So, anyway,the gist was this couple completely selling out their relationship for a book deal about what they decided to do privately in their bedroom.
Did they benefit from an increased intimate and emotional connection, yes.
Does making money off of a book deal about your bedroom habits totally demean the results, well, I think so.
And that is the reason I was a little shocked. Not judgemental about the subject, just on the intent to announce it to the world!
Did I pay good money to go see Sex in the City at the movie theater, yes.
Am I a hypocrite, most assuredly.
I'm more surprised that anyone is willing to read the book...I'm not just not all that interested in someone's sexual bets. I bet her husband feels wonderful about the "We all do things we don't want to do" comment she made! Yikes.
