Saturday morning I woke up an let the dog out, as usual. I stayed awake and waited on my Sister to arrive after she got out of work (3rd shift). She arrived around 6:50 a.m. and I left the dog with her and jumped into the shower. We then ran all around Fort Oglethorpe and East Ridge just driving around, supposedly chasing yard sales, but we never even got out at any. We ended up on Missionary Ridge having no idea we were even there until we started down into downtown Chattanooga, we had taken the back roads there all the way from my house!
We then came back, watched a TV program and took a nap! At noon it was time to head out for middle Tennessee and we left Matthew at the house and left to pick up my Nephew.
The drive was nice and I enjoyed spending time with them, albeit in a car, on a long trip with nothing spectacular to see on the way.
They dropped me off and Matthew and I took Toodles out to the battlefield and he was very interested in the deer. Not enough to chase them (or try to), but enough that all of his attention was on them. We came home and Matthew made some turkey and chopped it into small bite-size bits for treats.
Sunday we woke up early and regretfully didn't make it to church because Matthew kept getting called out to the apartment complex for things.
We finally did make it to the grocery stores, though, and had a good dinner.
This week my goal is to not skip any of my medicines!
My weekend just flew by too! It is physically painful to be back at work today!
