Wet Feet

Thursday I worked a full eight hours, shocked? Me too!
I came home right as it started pouring down and was able to bring Toodles in before he got wet. I ate a late lunch and began dinner for Matthew and I.
The dog is doing exceptionally well in our routine, and the cats are beginning the road towards "pet harmony".
The rain let up and we headed out for the battlefield after 7. Matthew decided to go to Wilder Tower since there is a paved path. We still ended up walking all over the soaked grass and getting our shoes wet. We took a long walk and came home to rest.
Matthew brought home a treasure. He had found an outside seating set in an apartment that people had just left behind. It looks really nice, and is wooden with two chairs and an end table connecting them into a semi-circle with a hole for a tall umbrella. I think we might paint it and find some cozy cushions and have more time outside with the dog!
