The routine is getting easier. I wake up at 5:30, take the dog out,do laundry, vacuum, scoop the litter, feed the dog, walk the dog, leave for work. It is a busy morning but I am not as sluggish as I normally am, and that is a good thing.
Matthew helps, but he is harder to get motivated in the morning, because he has a breakfast and morning news watching ritual himself.
In the evenings we are taking him each day out to the battlefield for a walk.
Yesterday Michael came over and we looked for a writing desk for his new apartment. After he left Matthew and I headed off for our 7:00-7:30 dog walking trip. We went to a new section of the park last night and Matthew and Toodles ended up both running out of a hiking trail and away from a snake!
Tonight might be harder because of the rain coming in, but hopefully we will only be a few minutes off from our routine because of going back to pick up Toodles after Mass.
He had an accident this morning from being in the kitchen all night, thankfully only #1. I am wondering if it is because he refused to go last night, or if I just refused to wake up when he needed to go out... felling a bit guilty about it. :-(
