still drowning

Why is it so darn hard to bounce back when you get behind on bills??
That is the hardest thing, in my opinion, to do.
I still have a naive expectation that with each new payday we will be back to our normal "everything paid up and on time", but that has not happened yet.
The cars and comcast are late, the cell phones are late, and the student loans are just taking a backseat right now.
I cancelled the Netflix and gym, but cancelling the gym is creating a termination fee, which will actually make it more costly for this month, but hopefully we will feel some relief in August. I can't believe I had that stupid membership for a year and never made time for it, or gave a honest effort. More disappointments!

Whew. I will have worked 38 hours this week, the most in a VERY LONG while, and still that money is gone, a week before I am to get it!

Ugh. More digging out though.
Please keep us in your prayers.

  1. You sound just like me! It is a hard hill to climb, getting back to "normal" once you fall behind in bills. I have no creative solutions except I take it one day at a time and keep thinking what I can sell or cut back. And I try to keep a good attitude by saying "Why couldn't I be rich instead of so darn good looking?" :)

  2. It is really hard to bounce back. When I moved from Georgia back to Tennessee and without my parents help we would have been in trouble.
