Sunburn for a cause

Saturday morning we were at the Waffle House for breakfast by 5:45. We met my co-worker there and began our day at the Little Angels Golf Tournament!
We arrived at the Elk's club at 7 and Matthew helped check in the golfers.

We were in our carts and waiting for the 8:30 round to begin early, and got a good head start on taking pictures of all of the teams before they began. There were 28 teams of four people in the morning game.
We finished up with the pictures by 10:45 and went down to Rite Aid, had them all printed out and back to the clubhouse by 11:30! This has been both the fullest and quickest year yet!
We then went back to our cart and sat under the large trees in between holes and talked with the beer ladies. They were nice and we relaxed for the next our and a half there, with a wonderful breeze. The weather was so nice! The first round took forever and many of the second round were delayed because the first guys still had their carts.
At 1:30 we also had a little bit of a lead on the golfers and had many of the first few pictures taken before the siren went off to begin the game.
It took us about the same amount of time to chase everyone down, try not to bother them while the were playing, and get back to the store with our memory card.
As we were leaving it was looking really dark and we thought by the time we got back with everyone pictures it would be pouring down! I took some pictures of the sky, although it looked worse with my own eyes.
By the time we had made it back to the course with our pics, we only ran in to lay them out on the table and say our good-bye's to everyone before we headed home. It rained on our way home, but by then we were burned and very glad to not also be wet! I am sure the golfer's got soaked!
We picked up dinner on the way home, came home and relaxed. It was a great day.
