Monday, looking good.

I managed to stay an entire day at work without management throwing daggers at me. YaY.
Everyone else decided to leave and it was just me and Maria, and we got to talk about her recent vacation to Disney so I had a good afternoon!
Now they are wanting us to sign up for carpooling, to save the environment.. and money. I am all for it basically because I won't have to get out of my comfort zone to do it. My co-worker Brenda lives just a few blocks away and we have rode together before.
The problem is that now that we are being herded home as early as possible the carpooling thing is not a good idea. I can't leave early if I am riding with someone else! Another hurdle.
I've been pricing scooters. 60 mpg, Matthew and I could go to and from work on only 2.5 gallons a week, instead of 5!
Hopefully work will pick up soon and we can busy ourselves right through summer. My car is too hot when I leave work.. I need the fall season to hurry on up!
Matthew's job is going OK from what he says. They have a few questionable policies concerning overtime and compensatory time though. He asked that I look into it and he was right, the federal labor department mandates that each pay week stands alone. So, his company is wrong when they have you work over one week, then let you take comp time in the next week hoping it all washes out on their two week checks. I have all of the printouts and even talked to someone from their hotline. Apparently this is commonplace in his company and I hope they don't try and do this to him because he can be especially stubborn about things.
He is out right now on a call.

Right now I am listening to Radiohead: The Bends, which reminds me of the long drives from Sale Creek into Chattanooga when I was commuting from school and work. I hydroplaned to Bulletproof, my first scary wreck.
