Night at home

After finishing up with my Mom and Aunt, I arrived home around 3:30 and went to Food Lion and picked up some frozen dinners for Matthew to take to work. Lo and Behold I found fresh raspberries and I had to buy them, even though the little package was $2.99, what a rip off.
I came home and started a chicken/cheese/noodle casserole and chopped up some lettuce for salads. By the time Matthew came in the door dinner was almost ready. We ate our salads and the casserole then headed out.
We stopped by a gas station and I bought Mom a lottery ticket with the buck she had given me earlier, and I picked up one too.
We arrived to St. Gerard's early and there was plenty of time to spent kneeling in prayer, which is exactly what I needed (see previous post). We had a very "large" attendance of 15, not counting the priest. Matthew says we have not gotten past 10 before, and this is the first time I have seen any kids on a Wednesday night. As always, the homily was excellent.

Tonight we are taking our "quiet night" with no TV to catch up on some yard work and chores. We still have a room waiting to be un-packed.
