Anyway I got to spend the better portion of the day hanging out and getting in some quality time.
I played the Wii Carnival games with my Sister for far too long and got a good upper-body workout. My favorite is the bowling ball trick.
I saw the movie What Happens in Vegas, and it was so funny!
After coming home, Matthew had the most delicious home-made fried chicken and dinner was yummy.
I am starting my summer reading on a John Saul book. Nothing profound, but I have read a lot of his books before so I will be able to get back into the zone.
Tomorrow is Mass and then my Sister and I are heading off to middle TN to pick up my Nephew who spent the week with his other grandfather. The trip will be nice and I am working on a top secret cd for the journey.
My guilty pleasure for the week is this song below. It is actually in the top 10 in the Uk right now... I can't help but like it.
I've been losing weight recently.. yippee! Everyone has been noticing, except I still feel like a huge blob of yuck. When I bought all of my clothes at Goody's the other day I had dropped two pants sizes! All I can really say about it is I have just been feeling so darn icky and eating a lot makes me feel like it is all coming up. Actually, eating anything makes me fel that way. I've still been eating what I normally would, but I can't finish most things. Of course, my mind thinks I must have something awful like cancer or something, but right now my only symptoms are nausea.. all of the time. I am trying to get back on the Metformin, but I've only really been taking it daily for a week, so it's not that.
I just have the worst time remembering (or caring enough) to take my medicine regularly. The metformin is my first step. If I can get on that daily, then I will be able to progress to the Byetta shots again. They are in my fridge waiting on me to be more responsible about my health. Ugh.
I have discovered the millions of uses of baking soda.. the wonder of baking soda! I used a paste of it in between shampoos yesterday and it cleaned all of the built-up gunk and left my hair baby soft. YaY
I just have to say it...I LOVE that song! Will be back to listen again!!
