I left work early yesterday and ran out to the Police Service Center to get a copy of the accident report from Matthew's August 2006 collision for the Farm Bureau. It was very funny to read, and I had forgotten most of the funny details. The report actually has that the lady left the scene, telling Matthew "Deal with it!", she had a revoked license for DUI, and was driving a Saturn that had plates for an F150! Now that it has been over a year ago I can laugh, but at the time we had to shell out $500 bucks to get his Ranger fixed, and were feeling really crappy about the limited amount of what they could and would do to find the lady. Oh well.
I went to my guilty favorite store, "The K-Mart" where I found two cute tops and a sweater (that I am taking back today). They already had their Christmas things out! I was so happy!!!
I had to pick up the new Reba Mcentire cd for my Mom. I listened to it on the way to pick up Matthew from work and I actually loved it. Although, I am such a big baby I can NOT listen to the sappy songs without BooHoo-ing. That's the main reason I can't listen to country anymore.
Matthew and I went to the Little Tokyo Express on Hixson Pike for dinner (used to be the Wendy's) and it was $18 for both of us, but the food was excellent! I actually had the beef and shrimp (yes, eating SOME meat now!) and the veggies were great!
After dinner we went to Church and the RCIA class was good. Father Joe talked about morality and the benefits of always keeping God at the end of your path. He gave this same lecture to our class back on 2005. It was good though. The lady I am sponsoring had to work, but her son (who Matthew is sponsoring) came. I was so tired from not having much sleep the night before (and sitting too long!), so I got up at the end and walked to the library and sorted some of the donations that have came in. I have a trunkload to drop off at McKays.
We came home and Matthew did laundry and cat duty while I went to my Sister's house and gave her an early B-Day present, two great finds from Lakeside Collection, a store I found from blog-buddy Brandy! See what I bought her Here & Here!!!
I also found my Nephew a "Chevy Trucks" hat at "The K" and he was pleased with it. Clearance for $2.99! Can't beat "The K"!!
