After work last night we went to McDonald's because I was starving! We made it to Church around 6:15-ish and helped out and sat around talking until class started.
Wouldn't you know everyone was there except our two people! Well, we still stayed and enjoyed the lesson and speaker. I think the speaker had given the same exact lesson topic to our class.
After RCIA class we went over to the library where we are digging them out of donations. the is not a lot of shelf space, so we are weeding through donations for non-religious books or book that we have copies of already. You would not believe the books they get in!
Speaking of books, I am still reading (only about 30 minutes a day) the Ursula Hegi book, Stones from the River, which is the pre-quel to the book (I read last week) Floating in my Mother's Palm and it is absolutely fantastic! Each day I am excited for the time I sit in the parking lot of Matthew's work and devour it. It is the only reason I am glad we are carpooling and there is an hour between the times we leave work.
And now that it is actually beginning to be nice outside it is great!! I am so ready for the Fall...
Once we finally got home and into bed we quickly crashed. Then around 1:30 a.m. Matthew gets called out to the Ledford Apartments to fix a water leak. I will be so glad when they get their own maintenance supervisor! For now, he is on call for two properties!!!
So, I went up to Mom's and slept on and off until he called and was coming home. We got back to our bed around 3:45-ish. I was out completely. In fact, I almost decided to be late this morning and get another 30 minutes of sleep... but I decided to be good and go ahead and wake up.
This afternoon I am going straight home and laying down!
