This week has been really rough! I have been in a ton of pain and have been at work and fulfilling other obligations that I normally would whine about. Other than the blog, though, I am trying hard not to be overly whine-y. I am sure those around me appreciate it, because I am no fun when I am tired or injured.Well, last night I skipped dinner and went to bed early, I knew I would need extra time this morning because I am moving so slow!
Tonight is our 2nd Pro Life Committee meeting at St. Jude. I have been looking forward to it since last month, and can not wait to begin doing more work in this area.
If you've been anywhere lately you have heard about all the attention Michael Vick, the Atlanta Football guy has been given to his illegal dog-fighting activities, and they are appalling! Protesters are forming and will be at each public performance of his.. if he has any, and they will surely be out for the trial. Now imagine, if you will, having a protest rally every time some big movie premiered with an actress who's had an abortion. Wouldn't that be wild? If more attention would be paid to the killing of unborn humans rather than animals, it's a perspective I wish people would realize. Hurting animals is beyond bad, but taking human life is an outright sin!
This is a really good (short) article about a couple who refused to abort their baby. Click Here.
Heavenly Father,
You create men in Your own image,
and You desire that not even the least among us should perish.
In Your love for us,
You entrusted Your only Son to the Virgin Mary.
Now, in Your Love,
protect against the wickedness of the devil,
those little ones to whom You have given the gift of life. Amen.
Have you heard about Anonymous Christianity? Really interesting...
