Wednesday after work I went to Dad's, had some fruit salad, read on a book. Had some quiet time before Matthew got home. Yes, I'm still scared to go home by myself, sometimes I am not, but I can never tell until I try. It was one of those days where I did not find the thought of coming home to 7 cats and dark rooms comforting.
Matthew had taken Goosey to the vet for spaying, so she went an entire night without us :-(
We came home and settled in and watched some TV, then I said,"you know I would like to shave Wader". So, we did.
Our fattest, most persnickety cat, she did fairly well at being handled and buzzed. It might not be the prettiest cut, but she is about 80% hair free and you can imagine the dandruff her black hair held.
Our next cat will be Pumpkin. I am alternating between long and short haired cats. Goosey hated it, so I imagine Pumpkin will be a nightmare also. The things we do for a little animal affection.
This morning Matthew went to play golf with his Dad. I slept in a little bit and headed out to the dentist. I got a cleaning, confirmation that I had a cavity, and set up for a time to come back to fill it in.
I knew I had one, its on my right upper side on my furthest tooth. They said that was the most common in adults because it is right on the gum line, hard to brush, and when you sleep at night all your saliva rests there... yumm!!
Oh well, another day.
