Momma-ness

Today I have realized that under no circumstance could I ever be good as a single Mom. I mean it.
We made it to Church, and then grabbed some burgers and off to the grocery store.. which is enough to pack into a few hours in and of itself.
I have began coming down with something nasal-y and Saint Matthew took over.
He meticulously went through a bag of beans, for what I don't know, since I am NO cook. He made wonderful beans, cornbread, laid it all out on the table for everyone.
He managed to understand that J would probably eat more with BBQ sauce mixed in(it SO worked) and T would opt for sour cream.
It was a beautiful spread.
And he did all of this while managing the kids and not allowing me to wake up from my super-great Sunday nap (I needed it).

I guess I should get going on the chores now and let him veg out in front of the TV, although he is a little traumatized right now from an episode of Barney we watched earlier today. Oh the over-animated and singing children.. they are annoying! Haha.
