Has been OK for the most part, other than the tooth giving me a fit, we have all been relatively less sick, and happy.
We had our first visit from the caseworker and all went very well.
We also had our first major blowout from T and she had to spend a minute with her nose to the door when a regular time out did not suffice.
J started back to school, and is very happy. T, unfortunately, cries when she goes to daycare without him.
Otherwise, it is all good.
I was at K Mart yesterday, and they had a special on the clothes one one particular display, 3 for $10. So, I picked out 3 things I thought T might need, and proceeded with my shopping. I found them both some super cute shoes.
At the register, the lady spent 5 minutes in confusion over the 3 for $10 deal, since it wasn't in the computer. The department lady came oven and verified they were on sale, and then the cashier had to void, and override the prices. Now, I'm trying to work on judging others, and it was 3:30 and I had had no lunch, so I may be over-reacting, but she keyed the items in at $3.75 each. That doesn't make $10.00, so I told her it was wrong. She calls the manager over, who looks at me with a certain amount of impatience and "I hate my job" and when I tell her that $3.75 on 3 items would be more than $10 for three, she whips around and says "Well, what is it then?!"
So, I had to educate the cashier and the manager to ring up 2 at $3.33, and one at $3.34 to make $10.00. Sheesh!
Matthew and T ran out to Big Lots last night and picked up the tubs we needed to put away the Christmas decorations. I waited until they were asleep and de-tree-ed the living room and put all of the holiday things away.. it is so sad!
The tooth thing went surprisingly smooth this morning, he gave me lots of nice shots of numbing-ness and proceeded to slice my tooth in half, then pry the two pieces out of my jaw. The only thin uncomfortable was having the pressure, and knowing he was prying them out of my jaw.. it was just a little disturbing. He let me see the bloody, gory teeth after he was done, and I must say I am impressed with him. So, I drove the 35 minutes home with my jaw clenching down, biting the gauze that would stop the bleeding. I get home and, just like he said, it looks hideous and gory.
But, it should take all weekend to stop bleeding here and there, and I can't have anything hot, or anything from a straw, and I can't spit. Weird.
This weekend I have planned to clean the car, play outside some, and make it to Church without someone being terribly sick.
