I can't even remember what we did on Friday.. but I think it had something to do with dinosaurs and fussy kids.. but that is in a post below.
Saturday I took T to my cousin and his wife's baby shower. She did OK, mainly because they had ham sandwiches, pretzels, and chips.. so she was able to sit for most of the time and eat. She did embarrass me one time, but we won't get into that..
When we got home we all four hung out and got ready to leave for my nephew's basketball game. On the way there it snowed, and it was all looks, unfortunately.
The basketball game was great, they liked it, and got to spend time with all of my family. When we left the snow was gone, and we went and visited Matthew's parents.
They played and had fun. We got to see the entire family in one evening.
Sunday we made it to Church, everything went fine. We went to the grocery store together and made it out with A LOT for $67! I am so happy for the Dollar General Market.
Monday, MLK Day, I had off from work. Matthew did not, so I spent the morning with the kids. We met T's twin and his mom, and their former foster mom, her son, and the kids' little sister, whew! It was awesome and we ate lunch and let the kids run around on the playground and got to talk. I am so blessed by knowing these families.
After lunch, we followed T's twin's mommy and they played at her house for a couple of hours while I was able to get to know the mom and hear about their story.
At dinner T complained for the second time that her teeth hurt. I asked her to point to it with her tongue, but I am not sure she knows exactly where it hurts, and I was not about to complicate matters by prying open her little mouth.
So, they both go to the dentist office today for cleanings, and maybe find out about the mystery pain. At least she's looking forward to going, although she has NO IDEA what a dentist does... sshhh, don't tell!
Sounds like an interesting weekend. FYI, I am really interested in knowing about how she embarassed you. Do tell!
