Things have been pretty even keeled around here. Nothing crazy or too dramatic, thank the Lord above.
Work is going steady and we are all managing to tough out the recent cold snap and inability to play outside. It is looking good for this weekend though... in the 60s!
After school today we sat at the table and had art projects. My sister had given me some cool foam letters and I already had construction paper.. all we needed were glue sticks, which I picked up on the way home and we had a great time making creations. I did one, too, and they are proudly displayed on the fridge.
The kids are getting anxious about St. Valentine's Day. They are always referring to anything they draw or write as their Valentines card, it is so sweet. Too bad J will be SO OVER IT when he realizes he has to write his name on the back of 17 cards AND give away the Cars pencils that came in the V-Day cards kit. Ugh. We will probably do something low key for T, who has already had her (25!)class names list sent home.. I am thinking of just doing some creative recycling of Halloween candy... hehehe... is that bad?
This weekend I am anticipating taking the kids and the dog to the park, running around like crazy people, and just soaking up some sun!
