Oh, we had the best time in Atlanta! The retreat was packed full of relationship-enhancing and we are already communicating better using the skills we learned. It was a great group of couples and we did not feel as shy as we normally would, because who doesn't want to talk about your kids with other people who've had the same journey? We are so glad we went.
The hotel was near the Perimeter Mall and we had some interesting meals, a lot of walking and browsing, and finished our trip at Ikea, where we were certain to buy something... and ended up not wanting anything!
There will be an alumni retreat in March, and we may go to that also.
It sure was great to get back home, unpack a little, and get back to normal though. I am so glad we had to take pictures of our kids to the retreat, because I looked at them several times this weekend. I missed them so much!
Tomorrow I have an ultrasound on my stomach.. it may or may not be dysfunctional.. haha. I just go around a lot being queasy and sickly. Don't worry, no bun in this oven, though.
J heads back to school and T will go to daycare for my testing. Then I have another Dr. appointment.. it will be one non-relaxing day off from work.
I will put up some pics later, but I posted a few to facebook this weekend.
I am glad you had a good time. Hubby and I made it to perimeter mall one time...and we liked it.
