Changing Lives

Our lives are changing, that is for certain.
This morning the system was down and we all spent two hours and forty five minutes staring at our desktops, doing what we could, and being helpless. How did people do business without computers/servers/internet?
We had planned on spending tomorrow in Knoxville, supporting the 40 days for Life program. Unfortunately, it is imperative that I not miss work, since I am the only income at the moment.
We are so sad because of our family friend's passing, and know that this weekend will be finding out the arrangements.
Saturday we begin our foster parent classes, we are so nervous and excited! We filled out a chunk of the paperwork last night and it is very daunting. The funny side is that the forms call Matthew the "father" and I the "mother"... at first we were curious as to why they would care about the employment info. of our parents, until we figured out they were referring to US!
It will definitely be a change to our frame of reference.
