Well, Matthew finally broke down and applied for unemployment yesterday. After being out of work for five weeks we had to concede that he just wasn't getting any job offers. Of course, we are still looking, but the handful of interviews he went on didn't call back, and the listings online and in the newspaper are dwindling. Companies just aren't hiring.
I am just hoping that we are able to keep the big things: House and Cars. I have (by the Grace of God) been able to pay the utilities on time, but the rest of our bills are either very late, or getting paid a small amount at a time.
And here I thought we were finally back on our feet after his lay-off in May.
I haven't been too grumbly on the blog.. but there is my update.
