Just as it happens, while browsing the On Demand HBO listings while I was home sick a week and a half ago, I came across the entire season 1 of HBO's Big Love. I had never heard about it and it looked interesting.
I devoured the first season quickly and lined up season 2 on Netflix only to find it had also been added on Memorial Day to the On Demand. WooHoo. I watched the Season 2 premiere Monday evening, and got through 2 more hours last night. Season three starts soon and I am so excited!!!!
Yes, it's about polygamists.
But it is so awesome! It is all of the intrigue and underground criminality of The Sopranos mixed with the comedy and female drama that I loved in Sex and the City. It is so good. I am loving my Big Love.
Now if only I didn't have to wait until the end of July for Eureka to come back on!
