What a week!

The parents have now officially seen the new place. We still have many days before we can begin painting and moving things in. It is frustrating, but the time also allows us to consider all of the things we want to do to the house, and in what order. We already know we are painting the white-ness away, and replacing the front and back door. I am sure we will run out of money and be eagerly awaiting Bush's "economic stimulus" check in May. Maybe I can make a little placard and post it somewhere.. "$1,200 of this house's renovations paid for by a huge loan my government bartered for with China".. but I won't be silly enough to return the check. No Way.
