So, this looong weekend I spent packing, sorting, and tossing away most of my things. We only hit a few rooms and already we have proven to ourselves that as much as we give away every few months, there always seems to be an endless supply of things we don't need to keep around.
It is going to be a more daunting process that it has ever been, since we are scaling back to an effective "ground zero" before moving. I am looking forward to starting over.
Sunday was rainy and we took my Nephew to lunch, then shopping a little at Lowe's. We got back to my parent's house and Matthew made a lasagna and we bought a few desserts that were very yummy.
My Mom and I went to a furniture store yesterday and I found a lot of great items like a sofa, bookcase, and chair that I will put on my wish list.
Since I was off from work yesterday I had a fun day galavanting around with Mom, and we visited with my Aunt who lives further down in Georgia and I finally got to see her beautiful home. We had a good time and a wonderful meal! :-) Yum.
We picked up Matthew from work and came home. Ate leftover lasagna and endured the torture of watching "Teen Jeopardy" because my Mother is faithful to the outdated show. Oddly enough, I was the best at the "Fun with Ballet" category, which was the strangest thing, since I have no idea about ballet.
I hope everyone had a great weekend!
