We bought some "kitty grass" at the hippie-tree-hugger-grocery store this weekend. They are fascinated with it, and ate a little bit, too. But Nermal likes to get in the pot and lay on the grass. Geez!Since watching Hot Fuzz, I am going to buy a Peace Lily. I looked it up and they are, indeed, part of Nasa's top 10 indoor air cleaning plants.
NASA research has consistently shown that living, green and flowering plants can remove several toxic chemicals from the air in building interiors. You can use plants in your home or office to improve the quality of the air to make it a more pleasant place to live and work - where people feel better, perform better, any enjoy life more. TOP 10 plants most effective in removing: formaldehyde, benzene, and carbon monoxide from the air.
Bamboo Palm
Chinese Evergreen
English Ivy
Gerbera Daisy
Janet Craig
Marginata
Mass cane/Corn Plant
Mother-in-Law's Tongue
Pot Mum

Warneckii
Side thought: Deeply considering becoming Vegetarian, if only to force myself to widen the scope of food I eat.
Dear Hubby and I watched Hot Fuzz together. I really liked it, but ofcourse hubby enjoyed it more than me.
