I came across this great essay on Sola Scriptura, Twenty One Reasons to Reject Sola Scriptura by Joel Peters. It is a 33 page document you can print out by clicking HERE. It is complete, concise, and has all of the backing footnotes and references.
It is the best I have found, and I have reviewed quite a few. I have been taking the quizzes at StillCatholic. They are really fun and simple.
My friend James has asked me about researching on faith. I have given him links to three books on Amazon that deal with primary source early christian history. Not only do I personally try to use primary source documents, but if you truly want to understand what was happening in a certain place at a certain time you must read what people from that time wrote. It is essential.
I recommended:
The Fathers of the Church: An Introduction to the First Christian Teachers
Four Witnesses: The Early Church in Her Own Words
Faith of the Early Fathers: Three-Volume Set
