The GE appliance repairman left, gave me a few suggestions and said to call again if it doesn't fix the problem. He said our vent hose is all squished at the back of the dryer and because our new dryer is SO MUCH SMARTER THAN THE BOTH OF US (haha) it knows that the hose's capacity is small, and will not heat. The fix? A $3 90degree hose thingamajig to plug our existing vent hose into. WOW. And I missed 3 hours of work for that?!
I received a call today that DFCS needed a respite care for tonight for 2 little girls, T1 & T2, aged 4 and 1.
I, of course, said yes. I called Matthew on lunch break and was on board also.
I will pick them up from daycare (meeting one of the foster parents to hand off car seats, diapers), so I am going to leave work a little early, clean out my car, and pick up some age appropriate food. I hear macaroni is all the rage with 1 yr. olds (I had to ask).
Any suggestions?
