Our computer caught a virus. So, I downloaded and ran free virus scans, to no avail.
The computer ran slow, had a million pop ups, etc.
Last night it decided to just shut down the entire system after I logged on for a few seconds.. repeatedly. I can log on to Matthew's logon, but from his desktop we cannot get the internet to pull up with any of the three browsers we have.
It is not looking good.
Ugh. I just hope we can find a way to salvage 7 years worth of digital pictures and music onto either a new computer or an external hard drive before the whole thing dies.
So, I am open to suggestions.
