400th post, change of plans

I left work early today to run errands and spruce up the house.
It was an absolutely gorgeous day to run around with the windows down, and I did! Toodles and I ran errands, went to the Battlefield, and to the Post Office. He is a good riding buddy.
Matthew went on call tonight. We had just sat down at Shoney's and placed our drink order when he was paged out for a water leak! We got the drinks to go (free!) and headed out. It took him all of 15 minutes to be finished once we arrived, and we ate dinner at Southern's in Red Bank, yum!




An exciting bit of news is that we will be contacting the Ga. Dept. of Children's Services next week to set up our first "on the road to adoption" interview! YaY.
I am so excited, and Matthew is excited in his own way.. lol. Once he figured out there were classes, and a 6-18 month wait, he didn't freak out so much. What, did he think they were just going to leave a baby on the doorstep and drive off?!?!

Hahaha.

This will be interesting. I hope we can hurry and take the classes so we can begin to change our frame of mind.. to becoming parents!
