I read blogs, a lot of them. And many times bloggers go long stretches without writing.. and I feel that this is my time. Life has been brutally hectic, and gearing up for the vacation has been ceaseless. I haven't had much to say, and next time I post will be with vacation pics. Work has actually been less stressful than most months, as we are gearing down for inventory.
We leave Friday night, and at this point I am so ready to get out of town I would spend a week anywhere. Things have been running together, and these last few months have been a string of frustrations and anxiety. I am more than ready for a little escapism. In fact, just today I have developed a fever blister/ cold sore/ all around nasty mutation on the inside of my nostril.. stress related, no doubt!
I have bought 85% of the Christmas gifts before our trip, and that was important to me. I gave my Mom her art print early, so she could get it framed. I got my sister something cool (can not divulge as she might read this), Matthew a leather jacket (also received early!), my Dad a 100 pack of blank DVRs (his request), a neat gift for my office recipient (we draw names), and my nephew some books (especially a kid's cookbook!) and RC Stunt car. I have Matthew's parents' gifts well on the way to being finished, with a few loose ends to tie on Vacation. (also not divulging for fear of ruining the surprise!)
I can't wait to show off some vacation pictures! Until Mid-December!!!
